Introducing the new Chief Executive of Koestler Arts

Posted on the

We are very excited to announce that Fiona Curran, our former Director of Arts and interim C.E.O, has been appointed Chief Executive of Koestler Arts! Fiona takes up her new position this March.

After witnessing the impact of this small charity on people across the justice system for over a decade, I’m so pleased and proud to be appointed Chief Executive. It’s an honour to lead such a talented team of staff and volunteers and to encourage and represent the creative work being done in the criminal justice system.” – Fiona Curran

Our Chair of Trustees, Sir Richard Heaton shared his enthusiasm at the appointment with us: “I’m delighted that Fiona Curran is our new Chief Executive at Koestler Arts. Fiona knows the organisation well — as our Director of Arts, as a long-standing member of our senior management team, and more recently as our acting C.E.O. She takes up the substantive Chief Executive position after a rigorous external competition, which attracted an impressively strong field. The trustees are excited by Fiona’s leadership skills, by her inventive and creative approach to the challenges faced by our sector, and of course by her passion for Koestler Arts and her belief in the power of art to change lives.

The whole team is looking forward to working with Fiona, in this exciting and busy year for the charity.
