From the artist: “Created on a winter day when I was looking forward to getting out in the garden and planting out the spring bedding. I particularly love Pelargoniums and I share his love with my grandfather who is a former council groundskeeper who grew up in the generation of gardeners where everything was formal straight lines. This artwork represents these formal rows of pelargoniums with their dark green leaves against a multicoloured background giving an impression of the other flowers in the borders, a homage to a man I greatly respect and admire.”
