There’s lots of ways to get involved with Koestler Arts. We provide a range of creative opportunities and activities for people involved in the criminal justice system, including those in secure settings and people in the community working with a probation service or offending team.
The Koestler Awards is the UK’s largest competition for artwork made in the criminal justice system, and runs in an annual cycle each year offering awards, feedback and the chance to exhibit and sell work.
Our Associates membership programme provides year-round inspiration, activities and advice, with quarterly newsletters sent straight to your door.
For people in the community, the Arts Mentoring programme is a great way to continue being creative, and build skills and confidence. Mentees receive guidance from a specially-trained arts mentor throughout the year, and work towards unique goals including building an arts portfolio, disseminating work and applying to educational courses.
